Minster roses praised

GREEN-FINGERED enthusiasts in Ilminster have been thanked for looking after the roses in the churchyard at the Minster Church.

Malcolm Young, writing in the church’s latest magazine, said: “The roses have looked wonderful this past summer and have given pleasure to many people.”

The church is compiling a rota for next year for people to help keep the churchyard neat and tidy. For more details phone 01460-53160.
