A FUNNY fundraiser hits Somerset County Cricket Club tonight (Thursday) with a host of highly-amusing talent.
Headlining Taunton’s Christmas Chuckles is Colin Manford, a North West actor-writer whose tales of family life and his student days has taken him from coveted UK comedy clubs to Eastern Europe.
Sharp-wit and deft social commentary from Perrier Award nominee Yianni Agisilaou will open proceedings with a run of ‘electric’ material.
Dave Chawner follows with his Greek epic-style fusion of comedy and tragedy, and Rob Hughes has the skills to sweep you from Mr Men to Robert Mugabe in one fell swoop with his surreal stand-up.
MC-ing the night is former army doctor and London Comedy Store graduate, Gary Colman.
Tickets cost £27.50 from tauntoncomedyfestival.co.uk with all proceeds going to St Margaret’s Hospice.
