TESTS on chickens suspected of carrying bird flu at a premises near Chard have come back negative.
As reported in the News, samples were taken from 12 chickens at Stony Knaps, Winsham, last Wednesday, after a sick chicken showing symptoms of bird flu was destroyed there a day earlier.
The Department for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs says all restrictions on the movement of poultry and people to and from Stony Knaps have been lifted.
