A LAWN mower was stolen from a garden shed in Chard on Friday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened sometime between 10pm on Friday night and 8.15am on Saturday morning.
A £200 lawn mower was stolen from the property in Stringfellow Crescent after the door was forced open.
A police spokesman said: "Anyone who has been offered the mower for sale or saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area at the time should call PC Ceri James at Chard Police Station on 0845-4567000."
