CHAMPIONS Chard made it 16 matches without defeat after ending the season with a 135-run victory at home to Street on Saturday.
Chard lost their opening two games of the season, but have not tasted defeat since to finish more than three average points clear of runners-up Cheddar.
They will now be playing in the Bristol and Somerset Division next season, one below local rivals Ilminster.
On Saturday, captain John Scott won the toss and decided to bat.
After losing Rob Glentworth early, Mark Tilley (76) and Jon Dalwood (33) shared a century stand.
When they departed, Nick Crew, with 32 not out, and Mark Garraway, 32 from 18 balls, continued the run spree to leave Chard on 235-5 from their 45 overs.
Street never came to terms with chasing such a large total, especially after spin twins Dalwood and Tilley came on.
Talbot, with 40 runs, tried in vain the get his team close but Dalwood (3-25) and Tilley (4-62) bowled Street out for 130 in under 35 overs.
