NT Live presents: Inter Alia
A screening of a National Theatre play is heading to Yeovil this week.
Inter Alia will be shown at The Swan Theatre on December 11 at 7pm.

The play stars Rosamund Pike, who has appeared in Gone Girl and Saltburn.
She takes on the role of Crown Court judge Jessica Parks, who balances her legal career with life as a karaoke enthusiast, a wife, and a parent.
However, her seemingly perfect life is shaken by a sudden event.
Rated 15, the 105-minute performance comes from the team behind Prima Facie.
There will be no interval.
Chard History Group
A "rock ’n’ roll roadsweeper" is one of four local lives being celebrated by Chard History Group in its talk this week.
The talk is set to focus on the lives of prominent local people, including First World War nurse Elizabeth Wilkins, Dr Robert Fawcus, and "father of the tank" Joseph Hawker.
The event will take place at The Guildhall on Thursday, December 11.
Doors open at 7pm, with the talk beginning at 7.30pm.
Admission is £2.50 for members and £3.50 for visitors.
Beauty and the Beast
Westlands Entertainment Centre's seasonal pantomime is set to open this weekend.
Beauty and the Beast will run at the Westlands Ballroom in Yeovil from Friday, December 12, to Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The tale follows Belle's adventures in the Beast's enchanted castle.
Lottie Mae O’Kill will play Belle Rose, while Ollie Thomas-Smith will portray Beast/Prince Galhampton.
Andrew Williams takes on the role of Dame Gertie Lush, and Kevin James returns as Caractacus ‘Crackers’ Lush.
Organisers said the show is "packed with music, laughter, fun and magic."

Isuzu FA Trophy: Yeovil Town vs Maidstone United
Tickets are now available for Yeovil Town's Isuzu FA Trophy third-round match against Maidstone United at Huish Park.
The game is set for 3pm on Saturday, December 13.
Adult tickets are priced at £12, while seniors and military personnel get in for £8.
Students and under-18s can watch for £5, and it costs just £1 for under-16s.
Hospitality boxes can be booked at £150 plus VAT for ten people.

St Agnes Fountain
St Agnes Fountain, known for kickstarting the festive season, will perform in South Petherton this weekend.
Chris Leslie, alongside Chris While and Julie Matthews, will bring their distinctive renditions of carols to audiences at The David Hall.
The ensemble, which started in 2001 with the inaugural St Agnes Fountain album, has annually delighted its audience with its unique festive spirit laced with both musical innovation and joviality.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, starting at 7.30pm.

Tone Big Band
A big band will perform jazz and some festive favourites as a fundraiser in Ilminster over the next week.
Tone Big Band, led by musical director Nick Brace, is set to play at the Ilminster Arts Centre on Monday, December 15.
Their performance will cover a range of styles, from early swing to the modern era.
Doors will open at 7pm, with music commencing at 7.30pm.
The event is free to attend, with donations encouraged to support the arts centre.
