Chard RFC delivered an impressive performance in their recent match, defeating Taunton's second XV 60-14 on the road.
The victory marks a third in a row for Chard, despite a shaky start.
They conceded five penalties in the opening seven minutes and allowed Taunton to score the first try, but quickly regained their composure.
Ben Fenton, Ross Colenso, and Finn Shoemark were particularly impressive among Chard's backs.
Chard's prop, Luke Aplin, crossed for a try shortly after Taunton's initial score, levelling the match.
Niall Crouch converted the try, and Chard's scrum half, George Russo, put the team ahead with an unconverted try soon after.
Aplin scored again, this time a converted try by Crouch.
Chard's forwards began to dominate the game, and Taunton struggled further when one of their players was injured.
Chard scored two more tries before half-time, one from Crouch and another from Colenso.
Crouch converted both, bringing the score to Taunton 7-33 Chard at the interval.
Shoemark continued to impress, scoring a brilliant try just two minutes into the second half.
Chard's forwards provided a strong platform for the backs, with notable performances from Max Gosden, Roy Wickham, Aiden Cable, Dave Biss, Joe Mainwaring, Warren Lewis, and skipper Dean Richards.
The dominance continued with four more tries from Joe Mainwaring, Wickham, player-coach Steve Pape, and promising young forward Harvi Gardiner, who came on as a replacement.
Taunton, despite the challenging circumstances, managed to score a late try.
Chard's players Biss, Aplin, and Richards shared the man of the match award.
The referee received praise for his superb officiating throughout the match.
There is no game scheduled for Chard this week, but they will be back in action when they host Clifton on Saturday, March 22.
