ILMINSTER Town Women have progressed to the First Round Proper of the Vitality Women's FA Cup for yet another year.
The Blues fought hard to earn a 2-1 win over Winchester City Flyers at home on Sunday, October 22.
In the match, Dana Andrews and Jodi Cornwall scored the all important goals for Ilminster to seal the win.
It was a tough game though as Winchester were able to create some solid chances, but Ilminster did enough to see themselves into the next round.
The First Round Proper will take place on Sunday, November 12, and for who Ilminster will face, that is yet to be drawn.
For the Ilminster Town men's team, their match away at Wrington Redhill was postponed on Saturday due to the ground failing a pitch inspection.
This Saturday Ilminster are home to Clutton who are currently bottom of the Division, the match kicks off at 3.00pm at the Archie Gooch Pavilion.
Striker Jack Steer returns to the squad after missing the last eight weeks due to a knee injury.
