Somerset Premier & Division One Cup: Chard Town 2-1 Saltford
CHARD Town FC have progressed into the next round of the Uhlsport Somerset Premier and Division One Cup.

The Division One opponents in Saltford took the game to Chard and for parts looked as though they could cause an upset.
But in the end the quality showed and Chard earned a 2-1 win to progress.
In other news at the club, Zembard Lane played host to the annual preseason game for the Chard Town U18s against the Chard Town Reserves.
It was a very entertaining battle as the two sides set aside friendships for the ninety minutes.
In the end, the Reserves won 4-3 in what was a match filled with strong attacks and seven goals.
A spokesperson from the club said: "A great game of football tonight from our U18s and Reserves tonight. This is the future of Chard Town Football Club.
"Well done to Michael "Fridge" Hawes and Danny Cleal. They have got a good squad of players to choose from."
