Perry Street Premier Division: Shepton Beauchamp 0-1 Chard United

CHARD United maintained their unbeaten start to life in the Premier Division of the Perry Street & District Leagues.

At the weekend they defeated Shepton Beauchamp 0-1 away from home to take them to seven points on the league table after three games.

In the match, Jamie Brown scored the sole goal to seal the three points for Chard and continue his strong form.

Chard United appear to be the team to beat this season in the Premier Division as reigning champions Forton Rangers dropping five points already this season.

It does appear to be a more competitive league this time round though which is exciting for spectactors.

Elsewhere in the Perry Street Premier Division, Forton Rangers defeated Misterton 2-0, Halstock beat Combe St Nicholas Reserves by the same scoreline.

South Petherton and Barrington played out a bore draw at home against Barrington and Yetminster United FC drew 1-1 with Perry Street & Yonder Hill.
