SW Women's Western Division: Ilminster Town 4-1 Helston Athletic
ILMINSTER Town Women have moved to top of the South West Women's Football League Western Division after a big home win at the weekend.
Playing at home, Ilminster won 4-1 over Helston Athletic to wrap up their second win in as many league games.
In the match, Ilminster actually struggled to find their rhythm in the first half and the visitors capitalised on the slow start picking up a goal.
At the break the score was 0-1 to Helston but the second forty five was a different story.
Harrie Kelly came on to the pitch and made quick impacts going forward as she created more space in front of goal.
In fact she went on to score a second half hattrick while Kelsie Miller picked up the fourth goal for Ilminster to complete a second half comeback.
Kelsie Miller was awarded player of the match with a strong midfield display and a headed goal.
Up next, Ilminster Town Ladies take on Saltash United Women on Sunday, September 24 in another home game in the league.
