THE Chard Hospital Cup Final is set to take place on Thursday, August 31 at Chard Town Football Club.
The two finalists set to do battle is Forton Rangers and South Petherton.
Both sides made their way to the final after winning their semi-finals 1-0 in two separate narrow matches.
Forton Rangers defeated Chard United 1-0 in their match, with Harry Boddington scoring the eventual winning goal.
For South Petherton, Stuart Witt scored the sole goal in their 1-0 victory over Misterton in the other semi-final.
Eerily, this years final is an exact rematch of last years final as Forton Rangers defeated South Petherton 4-1 last year in the Chard Hospital Cup.
South Petherton will be looking to exact some revenge in this years edition of the competition, no doubt.
The match is due to kick off at 7pm on Thursday night and acts as the curtain raiser to the Perry Street & District Leagues which are due to kick off this wekeend.
