PLAYERS from Ilminster Bowling & Tennis Club secured the Somerset Double Rink Title at the weekend.
In the final, the took on Street Bowling Club and picked up an impressive 16 shot win to claim the honours.
The Ilminster squad consisted of Jason Miles, Ian Lightfoot, Matt Hamilton, Levi Darlo Hembrow, Mark Denslow, Carl Brooks, Will Anderson and Tony Peterson.
In other news at the club, they are hosting some free Open Taster Days later this month.
On Sunday, April 23 from 10am to 12pm and also on Saturday, April 29 from 10am to 12pm.
A spokesperson said: "Come and join us for a free taster to bowls with all equipment provided.
"The club welcomes you all to come and try bowls with our club coaches on hand to support you through the basics of the game. We look forward to seeing you!"
