South Petherton Reserves 2-5 Shepton Beauchamp
IN some slippery conditions on Bank Holiday Monday, Shepton Beauchamp claimed the Arthur Gage Cup when they defeated South Petherton Reserves 2-5 in the final.
It was an end-to-end match and a true cup final classic but it was the Perry Street & District Division One champions who added to their successful season with the cup win.
Goalscorers for Beauchamp in the match were Richard Crabb with two, Jordan Brain, Keiran Howells and Brad Pitman each with one.
As already mentioned, Shepton Beauchamp are on their way up to the Premier Division after winning Division One this season without losing a match.
In their 16 games played they have won 14 and drawn only twice.
Add in the Arthur Gage Cup and it has truly been a strong season for this Shepton Beauchamp side.
