IT’S an exciting time for 23-year-old Brad Jones, as he steps up his preparations on the new BMW M1000RR bike which he will ride in the British Superbike Championship.

Jones, who lives near Yeovil, is moving up from a 600cc machine to a 1000cc for the 2021 season, so has much to learn.

With that in mind, he has spent some time practising at Oulton Park, to get a feel for the new bike - and his new team.

Jones is joining the iForce Lloyd & Jones PR Racing squad, who are based in Liverpool and have 20 years’ experience in the British Superbike class.

Round one of the Championship commences on July 25-27 at Oulton Park, to be followed by 10 more rounds, taking in all the top circuits in the UK.

One date for the diary for local supporters is Thruxton on July 30-August 1, when the Championship will be welcoming fans, and Jones would love to see as much home support as possible.

Jones also wishes to give a special mention to his loyal sponsors who support his campaign - year in, year out - and he is looking forward to sharing this next chapter of his career with them.
