INTERNATIONAL women's cricket is coming to Taunton this summer.

England Women are to face India and New Zealand in June/July and September, with two of the matches taking place at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

India will visit Taunton for the second match in a One-Day series on Wednesday, June 30, and New Zealand are in town for an IT20 match on Thursday, September 9.

Advanced tickets for those matches will cost: £5 for adults and £3 for juniors (for Somerset County Cricket Club members); and £15 for adults, £10 for students and £5 for juniors (non-members).

The priority window for ticket sales will open on Monday, April 19, for Somerset members, previous England Women ticket buyers and those who registered their interest in the fixtures earlier this season.

Tickets will go on general sale on Wednesday, April 28.

England's summer schedule kicks off with a Test match against India on Wednesday, June 16, at the Bristol County Ground.

England & Wales Cricket Board chief executive Tom Harrison said: “We’re really looking forward to a busy summer in what is a huge year for our England Women’s team, and we’re very excited about hosting India and New Zealand.

“The two international series will sit either side of The Hundred and, with the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and the new Regional T20 competition running throughout the summer, it’s a fixture list that offers a lot for both our players and our fans.

“With the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup around the corner it is of paramount importance that our England team is able to prepare accordingly, and with the team also due to travel to Pakistan in October we can look forward to an exciting 12 months of international women’s cricket.”
