CHAMPION: Michael Rich
TAUNTON motocross star Michael Rich recently collected his trophy after winning the 2019 South West Off Road Motocross Championships.
Rich, 33, has been a keen rider for many years and had never won a Championship before.
This time, a good end to the season saw Rich win all three races at the penultimate round and go into the final round with a narrow lead in the Championship.
It proved to be a good day as Rich was in top form again and notched up a hat-trick of wins to become the Junior Open champion for 2019.
