THE games are coming thick and fast for Taunton Town now, as the Peacocks follow a two-game week with more of the same.

Having beaten Hayes & Yeading United at home last Saturday and been edged out at Salisbury on Tuesday, Taunton head to Walton Casuals tomorrow (ko 3pm) and then host Truro City the following Wednesday (7.45pm).

Surrey-based Walton sit 15th in the Premier South table, having lost their first five league games, but then they won four on the bounce - with Metropolitan Police and Weston-super-Mare among their victims.

Tuesday saw them secure a good result at promotion hopefuls Gosport Borough, drawing 1-1.

The Peacocks will need to be wary of the hosts' frontmen Rene Howe, who has come in from Kings Langley, and James Ewington, formerly of Hampton & Richmond and St Albans.

Taunton hope to have centre-back Ben Adelsbury fit again after a hamstring issue, with fellow defender Nick Grimes also nearing full fitness.

On-loan midfielder Zac Smith has returned to training at parent club Bristol City, and Peacocks boss Rob Dray hopes he will return from his ankle injury in a couple of weeks.

Dray added that forward Josh Grant is playing for Western League club Tavistock, although Taunton retain his Southern League registration, while central midfielder Naby Diallo is away working on his fitness.
