FANS flocked to the Cricket World Cup Fanzone at Castle Green in Taunton yesterday, generating an enjoyable atmosphere around the global tournament.
With Afghanistan playing New Zealand at the County Ground on Saturday afternoon, the town filled with cricket fans and tourists.
As well as being able to watch the England versus Bangladesh match on the big screen at Castle Green, there was live music, entertainment, refreshments and fun cricket activities for all ages.
The free-to-enter Fanzone remains in Taunton for one more day – today (Sunday) – with the crunch match between Australia and India being shown live on the big screen.
Alcohol is available to purchase within the Fanzone but cannot be brought in by spectators.
Glass, large flags, chairs and portable furniture are also prohibited.
