COMEDY titan John Cleese says he can 'can die happy now' after Somerset's cricketers secured their first silverware in 14 years.
The Monty Python star tweeted of his pride at the county's victory over Hampshire in Saturday's Royal London One-Day Cup Final at Lord's.
And he had special praise for the club's home-grown contingent.
"So proud of Somerset yesterday," he said.
"Best moment: The grin on Westonian Peter Trego's face when the celebrations started.
"I love the fact so many of them are from the South West - a lovely bunch of guys.
"I can die happy now, though I may wait till the end of the Championship season."
