Chard Town travel to old North Somerset rivals Welton Rovers on Saturday in the First Division of the Toolstation Western League (ko 3pm).

Manager Jamie Manley should have four players back – goalkeeper Scott Wells-Burr, defender Ollie Pearson, midfielder Nathan Warren and forward Steve Friend.

However, injured forwards Joe Smith and James Boyland are likely to miss the rest of the season.

There is football at Zembard Lane on Saturday, with Chard Reserves hosting Alphington Reserves in Division 1 of the Devon & Exeter League (3pm).

Last Saturday, the reserves won a friendly at Glastonbury 5-3, with goals from Ryan Lewis (2), Chris Atyeo, Brad Loaring and Christian Blango.

Chard manager Jamie Manley was pleased with the promise shown by Marky Jones, the 16-year-old striker, who came on as a 29th minute substitute for another Under-18, Alex Harper who picked up a calf strain, and Jones marked his Western League debut with a goal.

Ilminster Town host Nailsea United in the Somerset County League Premier (2pm) in a match which pits eighth against ninth.

That match is followed by Ilminster Town Reserves' Daisy Hutchings Cup semi-final at home to Thorncombe (4.30pm).

Combe St Nicholas host Cheddar Reserves in Division 3 (3pm).

On Sunday, Ilminster Town Ladies travel to Downend Flyers and the reserves are at Frome in the Chairman's Cup semi-finals.
