HOLYROOD Academy has hosted the Primary Schools cross-country fun run in which over 200 pupils took part.
The school sports leaders were on hand to assist in leading the runners round the course, encouraging, supporting and registering the athletes as they entered the finish pens.
The course produced some competitive races and nail-biting finishes.
The first 15 in each race are now eligible to represent the Chard cluster in the Area cross-country later this year.
The winners were as follows:
Years 3&4 Girls: Phoebe Eames, Chard School
Years 3&4 Boys: James Fish, Ashill
Years 5&6 Girls: Darcie Cockburn, Combe St Nicholas
Years 5&6 Boys: Willoughby Gold, Redstart
