REIGNING champions Barrington fell at home to heirs apparent South Petherton, 4-1, on Saturday in the Perry Street & District League's Premier Division.

A brace from Harry Charles and one apiece from Charlie Berrington and Mike Rousell were enough to see off the home side; Dave Smith replied.

Shepton Beauchamp beat Pymore 6-0 thanks to Jordan Brain’s hat-trick, Sam Brant, Keiran Howells and Jacob Gaines.

In Division 1, leaders Thorncombe travelled to third-place Perry Street Res and lost 1-0, Billy Sheahan making the difference.

Ilminster Town Res kept in touch as Thomas Fletcher (2), Mitchell Hooper, Kieran Manley and Jack Read brought them a 5-1 win at home to Misterton Res.

In the basement match at Combe Res, visitors Uplyme won 5-1 - James Soutter-Phillips, Harvey Brimicombe, Ben Prosser and Harry Robson on target.

Forton Rangers hit eight at Crewkerne Rangers, George Gillman hitting the consolation, and Mark Smale scored the only goal of the game for Hawkchurch at Netherbury.

Unbeaten leaders South Petherton Res just held off visitors Forton Rangers Res with Troy Purchase winning the points.

Will Arkell scored for Kingsbury Episcopi but it was not enough as visitors Charmouth ran out 3-1 winners to remain second.

Chard Rangers beat Donyatt Utd 2-1 as Matt Gaylard and Scott Marshall found the net.

Evergreen Craig Rice was on target against Ilminster Town as Dowlish & Donyatt won 2-0, Dan Vining adding the other. And Crewkerne Res won 4-0 at Shepton Beauchamp Res with goals from Tom Broome, Steve Bryant, Tommy Martin and Mike Calverley.

In Division 3, leaders Winsham Utd Res won 5-2 at Farway, Ian Hilton-Barret (2), Brendan Hodder, Thomas Stead and Jake Entwhistle on target. Peter Peacock hit a brace as Lyme Rovers beat home side Netherbury Res 6-3.

Declan Ellis, Finlay McLean, Scott Meyers and Darius Pickering were also on the scoresheet.

Chard Rangers Res sprung a surprise at Merriott Dynamos, winning 4-1. Keiron Murphy, Craig Whittingham, Dan Wilcox and Mark Cormack caused the damage.

And Combe St Nicholas hit seven at Crewkerne Rangers A, while Ilminster Town B won 2-0 at Thorncombe Res.

In the Challenge Cup, Winsham Utd enjoyed a 2-1 win at home to Merriott Rovers to go through to the final. Matt Hill and Dan Norman scored for the winners with Tom Case giving United a nervy finish.

They will face Misterton, who beat Halstock 1-0.
