YEOVIL Town FC are set to be under new ownership within a month after agreeing a deal with an American consortium.
A club statement released this afternoon (Wednesday) said: "An agreement has been reached between the club’s current ownership and Feliciana EFL Limited, headed by Rob Couhig, subject to EFL approval.
"The YTFC Board is pleased to be advancing and both parties anticipate completion within the next month."
Mr Couhig, 69, would take a majority stake in the club and stadium and take over as chairman.
He has sporting experience in baseball, moving the Denver Zephyrs to New Orleans in 1995.
The Glovers are currently in danger of relegation from League Two, sitting one place and one point above the drop zone after a run of six straight defeats.
Manager Darren Way is coming under increasing pressure from the club's supporters as a result.
