AFTER the fears over the Equine Flu outbreak, it's all systems go for Wincanton Racecourse tomorrow.

Racing was given the green light to resume in the UK on Wednesday, after six days without action.

Spectators heading to Wincanton can enjoy an eight-race card, with the Grade 2 Betway Kingwell Hurdle the pick of the events.

That race is regarded as a trial for the Cheltenham Festival's Unibet Champion Hurdle, featuring the country's best hurdlers.

The track will also run the prestigious Listed Mares Chase, which was moved from Exeter after it's abandonment on Sunday.

Also on the card is the Betway Handicap Chase (for the Harry Dufosee Memorial Trophy), a race steeped in history.

It is held in memory of the late Harry Dufosee, who played a pivotal part in ensuring racing continued at Wincanton after the Second World War.
