CHARD Town will be looking to record their seventh successive Toolstation Western League Division 1 win when they entertain old rivals Welton Rovers tomorrow (ko 3pm).

Welton, currently seventh in the Toolstation Western League First Division table and one of the sides in the chasing pack behind league leaders Chard, will provide stern opposition.

Although missing Tom Salter (knee) and with Dan Collins (knee) being assessed, there is promise on the horizon for the Robins, with summer signing Steve Smith, who has not played since September, fit to resume training.

ILMINSTER Town saw last Saturday’s scheduled match away to fellow Somerset County League Premier Division mid-table side Nailsea United postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Tomorrow, after a run of away matches, the Blues host fifth-placed Watchet Town at the Archie Gooch Pavilion (ko 2pm).

The West Somerset side have not conceded a goal for four matches, and last Saturday they drew 0-0 with reigning champions Chilcompton Sports.

In Division 3 of the County League, Combe St Nicholas welcome Middlezoy Rovers Reserves to Slades Cross (ko 2pm).

ON Sunday, Ilminster Town Ladies entertain South West Womern's Premier title-chasers Marine Academy Plymouth (ko 2pm).

In the Somerset Women's League, Combe host Ilminster Town Reserves for a Division 1 derby match (ko 2pm).

A little further south, in Dorchester, Yeovil Town Ladies face a crunch match with West Ham United (ko 3pm), as they seek to move off the bottom of the FA Women's Super League table.
