CHARD Rugby Club’s sides return to action on Saturday after a weekend off.
The first XV, who ran leaders Sidmouth close before going down 27-24 in their last match, face a tricky trip to Cornwall to face third-placed St Austell in Western Counties West.
Chard remain without a win on their travels so far this season and they will have to be at their very best if that record is to change this weekend.
Chard 2nds also have a tough away day to contend with, though they don’t have quite so far to travel.
They make the short trip to Somerset 2 South leaders Yeovil 2nds, who have won six of their seven matches so far this season.
Chard 3rds host Somerset 3 South front-runners Tor 2nds.
