MAY 5 saw both Donyatt Bowling Club's league sides in action.
Both got off to a fine start, winning by ten points to two on both counts, the Premier League side against Williton and County League side against Nailsea in home fixtures.

ON May 8, the club had a game against the Avon & Somerset Police BC at Donyatt. This was a first class game, both sides fielding very strong rinks, but the home side came out on top, winning by 34 shots overall, 101-67. An excellent result for Donyatt who usually come in second to this team.

MAY 12 saw both league sides in action again. One team played at home against Banwell B C, losing on two rinks out of three and gaining just two points, with ten points going to the visitors. The other team travelled up to Wyrral Park, not a very fruitful trip, losing on all three rinks and all the points going to the home side.
