ILMINSTER men were too strong for Bridport in the second round of the Denny Cup, winning 110-52.
Ilminster now play Dorchester in the third round on November 29.

On Sunday an Ilminster mixed double rink visited Taunton in the Somerset and Devon league. They lost on both rinks and by 47 shots to 25. n Chard B have shown improved form in their latest two matches in the East Devon League.
At Combe St Nicholas they collected their first point with a 4-4 draw in a match then won 58-56 on shots.
At eight ends two of the games were tied which meant an extra end had to be played in each to decide the outcome.
At home to Seaton Cliff A they produced an excellent result, winning 7-1 in games and 95-27 on shots.
Only one game was played in the Milford and Dormor mixed triples.
Greyhounds trailed Harlequins 10-4 after ten ends before going into overdrive to win the next three.
At the start of the last end Greyhounds held a one shot lead but Harlequins were not to be denied. They raised their game to take the end by four shots and the match 14-11.
