A SOMERSET-based law firm has expanded by merging with two other practices.

Amicus Law officially merged with Brioomhead and Saul and Solicitors Title on Monday (October 31).

The move will spread Amicus Law's reach and allow it to offer services to existing clients over a wider area.

A spokesperson for Amicus Law said: "Broomhead and Saul, like us at AmicusLaw, are a friendly, approachable firm that provides excellent quality services and client care.

"As a long-established law firm, they have a strong local presence and contribute to their communities in their personal lives as volunteers, charitable trustees, and school governors and we want to ensure those local connections can continue.

"We will also be merging with Solicitors Title who were established in the '90s and have since become particularly expert in property and commercial law, operating from two of our existing locations, in Exeter and Yeovil.

"This means that by combining our services, we will significantly strengthen our offering to business clients, providing you with the best services available."

Solicitors Title took over Broomhead and Saul in 2019, expanding the company's reach and services.

The Amicus Law spokesperson added: "The Amicus Law merger takes that to the next level, benefitting all of our clients and contacts.

"Discussions between the partners of both firms commenced in March this year and naturally they are delighted that this merger has been able to be achieved.

"AmicusLaw cares, listens, and works to protect you, your family, and your best interests.

"This is why we are so excited to be merging with these like-minded brands to provide a plethora of strengthened services to a wider audience.

"These new offices will be located in Ilminster and Taunton, adding to our existing network of six branches across Somerset and Devon and allowing us to expand our expert legal services to even more new areas."

The new firm now has a presence in Bridgwater, Wellington, Minehead, Yeovil, Martock, Ilminster, Taunton and Exeter.
