HUNDREDS of people enjoyed the Somerset County Show last weekend.
The event took place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September at Taunton Racecourse.
A message on the show’s website said the Somerset County Show is designed to showcase the very best Somerset has to offer, with the emphasis very much on participation and community involvement.
The show featured hundreds of stalls and activities including equestrian events, fun dog shows and dog activity zone, classic vehicles, cooking demonstrations, food and drink festival, an alpaca village, and children’s activities.
The Wurzels also joined the event and played on Sunday afternoon.
A message shared by the Somerset County Show Facebook page said: “A big thank you to everyone who attended our show for 2022 - visitors, volunteers, participants, stall holders, exhibitors, subcontractors, sponsors, supporters, team workers and so many more.
“Without you, our show would not be possible.
“It’s been a long three years since our last show but we have so appreciated all the wonderful feedback we have had and seeing everyone together over the weekend enjoying the lovely sunshine and spending time together during this historic time of mourning and remembering Her Majesty by signing our book of condolence and showing respect with a minute of silence.”
