A determined Ilminster Scout is fundraising to attend the World Scout Jamboree.
Asher was selected from over 200 applicants for the prestigious event, which takes place in Poland next year.
The World Scout Jamboree is a unique gathering of tens of thousands of Scouts between the ages of 14 and 17 from all over the world, held every four years.
The event is designed to foster international camaraderie, cultural exchange, and the development of leadership skills.
Founded by Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the first Jamboree was held in 1920 and has since grown into a cherished tradition within the Scouting community.
To fund his trip, Asher is turning his hand to a variety of activities.
He is making and selling woggles with the Jamboree's logo on them, and also selling a game he created called Don't Count Your Chickens.
His JustGiving page is accepting donations of £5 per woggle, with the option to give more to further support his efforts.

Supporters can also book to attend a Ceilidh night on Friday, July 17, at Horton Village Hall.
The event will start at 7.30pm and feature Michael Catovsky and The Polekats, with drinks available.

Asher is also offering his services for tasks such as gardening, car washing, and ironing in exchange for donations.
The young Scout's commitment to fundraising underscores the importance of the Jamboree in the Scouting community.

The event is open to Scouts between the ages of 14 and 17 from all 176 member organisations, making it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Asher.
