The George
Ilminster’s newest pub is offering its own bespoke Christmas menu for the first time since reopening in September this year – however, spaces for this are very limited.
The pub will be open exclusively for those joining the team for lunch, with a spokesperson for the pub describing this as an “intimate and relaxed service,” allowing visitors to enjoy their Christmas day “to the fullest.”
A spokesperson said: “Christmas Day will be like an extension of home (but with a full bar), and we are sure it will be a day to remember. You will have your table for the duration, allowing plenty of time to relax, exchange gifts and enjoy the festivities.
“We look forward to seeing you on the big day.”

Stonemasons
The Stonemasons is offering Christmas lunch and dining this year, with a spokesperson saying that their chefs have crafted a “delicious” range of festive menus for the occasion.
These include “traditional roasts with all the trimmings” to “comforting classics” and “delightful desserts, that are guaranteed to make your celebration extra special.”
A spokesperson wrote: “Plus nothing beats the warm, welcoming feeling our pub brings throughout Christmas to make it an even more magical occasion.”

The Five Dials Inn
For those in the area planning a festive get-together with friends, family, or colleagues, The Five Dials Inn claims to have you covered.
A spokesperson for the pub said: “Our Christmas party menus are perfect for groups of 10 or more diners, available from November 18 to December 31.
“Celebrate the season with great food, flowing drinks, and plenty of cheer – all in a warm and festive atmosphere.”

The Bell at Broadway
For those looking for a cosy village pub this Christmas, then look no further than The Bell at Broadway.
A spokesperson for the Bell at Broadway wrote: “It’s that time of year again. We have a great menu to see all of you through December.
“Our Christmas Fayre runs from the 1st until the 24th of December, then we have our Christmas Day menu. All books require a pre-order and a deposit. Please call us to arrange your Christmas parties.”

The Barrington Boar
The team at the award-winning The Barrington Boar, recently named one of the best pubs in Britain by The Good Food Guide in October, has said it is “full steam ahead this year for Christmas.”

The space is encouraging visitors to come together with colleagues, friends and family to celebrate the season and is offering a bespoke Christmas Party Menu which is available from December 3-30.
However, the pub will be shut on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day this year.
