A school play has given pupils in Ilminster the chance to shine.
Year Four children from Herne View Primary School took to the stage for a performance of What a Knight! at the Warehouse Theatre, supported by a choir of Year Three pupils.
The young cast impressed the audience with their singing, dancing, and acting, bringing the story of Camelot to life.
A spokesperson for the school said: "The children were absolutely fantastic, singing their hearts out, dancing brilliantly and demonstrating superb acting skills.
"This was a memorable experience for the children and the whole audience, and from the performances, we’re sure we'll be seeing many of them on stage again in the near future."
Pupils also reflected on their experience.
Albert said: "It was the time of my life and it was really sad when it ended."
Ellie said: "Everyone got a chance to be part of it, even though they did not want a speaking part."
Oscar said: "A chance to see drama and stage as a career path – you can actually tell people in the future, that 'I was in a show.'"
The school extended special thanks to Miss Swinson and the Warehouse Theatre for their support.
