AN AREA of the recreation ground in Ilminster has been cordoned off due to a split branch in one of the trees.
The town council contacted a tree surgeon to deal with the issue.
A message from Ilminster Town Council read: “There is a split branch in one of the trees on the recreation ground by The Mead football pitch.
“The tree surgeon has been contacted and is coming later in the week when it is not so windy. In the meantime, the area has been cordoned off.”
