THE dates for the next Ilminster Literary Festival have been revealed.
The festival, which will be in its eighth edition next year year, will run from Thursday, May 30 to Thursday, June 6 2024.
The committee is currently at work putting together a programme to attract and impress audiences.
Next year’s participants include:

- Gill Walker
- Ian Munro
- Yola Munro
- Elaine Cope
- Ken Cooper
- Sue Collard
- Ben J-Hurford
The festival exists to promote the wider arts as well as literature.
A spokesperson said: “With that in mind, we’re currently talking with other arts organisations in the town with a view to broadening the appeal of ILF 2024 without detracting from the literary content.
“Conversations are at an early stage, but we’ll update you through these newsletters if and as ideas develop.”
