ILMINSTER Town Ladies FC were due to take on Plymouth Argyle at the weekend however poor weather meant the game was postponed.

However, in exciting news, the rearranged fixture will now be played on Sunday, November 19 at Home Park Stadium in Plymouth.

The match on Sunday was set to be played in Torpoint, and the pitch passed an inspection on Sunday morning, however it failed a second inspection before kick off.

But for this group of players, they now get to play a game at the 16,388 capacity stadium which usually plays host to Championship football.

A spokesperson from the club said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for both players and supporters to promote Ilminster Town FC on the big stage.

"A supporter’s coach will once again be available. Everyone will need to book/rebook their seats, more info to follow. Let’s turn Plymouth blue!"

The match is due to kick off at 2pm on Sunday, good luck to the Ilminster Town players!
