ILMINSTER Town Council cleared broken safety glass from a bus stop area in Ilminster.
Ilminster Town Council noticed the damaged safety glass on Canal Way this morning (Tuesday, October 16).
The authority also said it is not clear whether it was an accident or vandalism, but it was reported to the police.
A message shared by Ilminster Town Council through its official Facebook page said: “This morning, our grounds team had to clear the broken safety glass from the area of the bus stop on Canal Way.
“This may have been an accident or it may have been vandalism.
“It has been reported to the police via 101 but it would be really useful if anyone was aware of what happened, please contact the town council office either through Facebook, email town.council@ilminster.gov.uk or telephone 01460 52149.”
The Chard and Ilminster News has contacted Avon and Somerset Police for comments.
