AN EMERGENCY closure will affect a road in Ilminster for two days.
The closure will be in place on Ditton Street on August 1 and August 2 to allow Wessex Water to carry out repair works.
A message from Somerset Council read: “Please be aware that we have received a notification of a TTRN (emergency) road closure at Ditton Street, Ilminster which will commence on 1st August 2023 – 2nd August 2023 (00:00 – 23:59) for a total of two days.
“This will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to replace the communication pipe relay.
“The contractor has indicated that access to emergency services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.

“Please visit one.network where you will see the map of the affected area (in red), together with the supplied diversion route (in blue).
