A ROAD near Ilminster has been reopened after a single-vehicle collision involving a lorry.
The collision took place this morning at around 5.20am on Donyatt Hill.
Avon and Somerset Police said the road was closed for cleaning and to allow the recovery of the lorry.
The force also added that they believe “no one was seriously injured in the collision”.
The road reopened around 10am.
The full statement from an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at around 5.20am today (Monday 29 May) to Donyatt Hill, in Ilminster, following a report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a lorry.
"We believe no one was seriously injured in the collision.
"The road was closed for cleaning and to allow for vehicle recovery. It was reopened at around 10am."
