BUSINESSES from Ilminster and the surrounding area have been invited to attend a networking event offering a free breakfast and coffee.
The Businesses in Ilminster Group (BIIG) will host the event at the Best Western Shrubbery Hotel on Station Road on Friday, July 1.
The group holds weekly networking meetings to bring businesses together.
It is committed to providing ‘BIIG opportunities’ for its members and sharing possible business opportunities and referrals with them.
The meetings are also an opportunity for local organisations to share their experiences and support one another.
Businesses have been invited to “come along and see what we do”.
A BIIG spokesperson said: “We are a friendly bunch of local businesses that meet weekly to encourage referrals when relationships develop.
“Occasionally, we will organise bigger events to encourage others to come along to see what we do and learn how the group can benefit their business.
“It is a great place to find business contacts and seek support from others.”
There is no charge for local businesspeople to attend and they can choose to enjoy a breakfast roll or a continental option.
The event will start at 7am and run until 8:30am.
