ON Saturday May 14, the Warehouse Theatre in Ilminster is set to hold a comedy night with Raymond and Mr Timpkins as headliners.
Presented by Genius PR & Events, the comedy evening is set to start at 7.30pm and will feature a number of comedic acts.
Master of Ceremonies for the evening is recovering chav and enthusiastic Bristolian Dani Johns.
With an energetic mix of story-telling and serious over sharing, Dani has been described as one of the best new comics in Bristol and has performed alongside Jon Richardson, Angela Barnes and Rosie Jones.
The opening act is Levdev Barpaga; he has the kind of effortless and gentle likeability that is completely unique in the comedy world.
Entire crowds seem to fall in love with him from the start and as much for his incredible humour as for his undeniable charm.
Up next is Ricky Balshaw, a former Paralympic athlete and silver medallist, he just won Midlands Best Newcomer 2021.
Balshaw was also a semi finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards for 2021.
Finally the headline act, as already mentioned is Raymond and Mr Timpkins.
A comedy twosome with over two decades of mucking about behind them, they have been everywhere from New Zealand to The Falklands and Exeter to Edinburgh with many a stop in between.
Lightning fast choreography meets uber swift editing in a 'fantasmagorical' collision of quality entertainment.
Expect an overload of velvet, sandals and multi-hued wool provides a startling accompaniment, the whole effect being that of a slim man and a fat man putting their bums in your face.
