A SOUTH Somerset couple who found love in Edinburgh returned to the Scottish capital for a romantic wedding.
Paula and Alexander's first dance at their reception in the winter of 2019 has now been captured in a once-in-a-lifetime picture by an artist from the city.
The Ilchester couple originally from Argentina were among 70 newlyweds who submitted photos from their happy day to a Valentine's competition run by the InterContinental The George hotel in Edinburgh, where they tied the knot.
They were invited to share their fondest memories and pictures of where they said, 'I do' via social media.
Paula and Alexander were among the winners and artist The Edinburgh Sketcher was commissioned to recreate one of the photos from their reception in a picture.
The couple have a tip for other people getting married - they said: "Our advice for couples might sound silly, but it is very useful when you love fighting just because you’re Latin!
"Never go to sleep if you haven’t made peace."
