A 10-YEAR-OLD from Ilminster woke up one morning and decided she wanted to donate her hair - and so she did.
Maisy Buttle told her mum, Sarah Buttle, that she wanted to cut off her long hair this month.
So Sarah phoned Angie Cullen Hair in Ilminster and booked an appointment.
Maisy had 12 inches cut off to give to The Little Princess Trust.
"We are so proud of the courageous act of kindness Maisy has shown, as we know how much it meant to her," said Sarah.
Sarah also set up a JustGiving until Saturday, December 4, with the hope of raising £150 to donate to The Little Princess Trust as well.

The Little Princess Trust makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer or another medical condition.
The trust relies solely on the efforts of community fundraisers.
