FOUR people were rescued from floodwater this morning (October 30).
Two vehicles got stuck in floodwater on the A358 at Donyatt, near Ilminster.
Fire crews from Chard and Taunton attended the incident around 7.30am.
The road has now been closed.
"All were led to safety, uninjured, and left in the care of the police," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"Police were carrying out traffic duties, whilst they awaited the arrival of family to collect and recovery."
