CHILDREN enjoyed a fun day out at a sunflower bonnet parade in Ilminster this weekend.
On Saturday (August 28), eight contestants headed to Tesco in Ilminster to showcase their creations.
Little Woody stole the show - wit a bonnet that was supposed to be worn by his sister, Athena. In second place was Heidi and Nixie, and they were so excited when they found out - they danced in circles.
Organiser of the event, Marjorie Edwards, said: “Helena Mary, the community champion of Tesco’s, judged the competition and gave out the prizes and everyone who came along received sweets. Thanks to Tesco’s for sponsoring and providing prizes.”
