MORE than 180 people have turned out to help raised around £1,000 for Ilminster’s famous Christmas lights.
The audiences flocked to the Warehouse Theatre for two floral design workshops in support of the Christmas Lights Committee.
The events were organised by Ilminster florists Cottage Flowers and the displays were given by Angie Blackwell and Holly Harris.
The pair created a huge display on stage, with two styles and two scenes featuring seasonal materials.
Some audience members won parts of the arrangements with the raffle.
Laura Searle, from Cottage Flowers, said: “Last year was our first year at the theatre and it was sold out then as well. We are possibly going to be doing another one at Easter. Everyone seems to enjoy watching them and we enjoy doing them.”
