More than 2,000 lots featuring military artefacts, rare medals, historic weapons, and fine coins are up for auction with a Crewkerne organisation.

Lawrences Auctioneers is set to host its Autumn Militaria, Medals & Coins Auction, showcasing a wide range of collections.

This three-day event is known for its "collections of collections."

One of the standout pieces is a Chinese Gold Sycee Ingot.

However, even more intriguing is a gold bar from the Geldermalsen, often referred to as "sunken treasure" due to its rarity and historical significance.

The auction also presents one of the largest collections of cap badges ever offered by Lawrences.

This is alongside a notable selection of enamel badges and military medals.

Two silver swords from a distinguished private collection.

Additionally, collectors will find a Victorian Gothic Crown among the numismatic treasures.
