WE have had reports of a fallen power cable blocking a road in South Somerset.
South West Coaches tweeted this morning that there are delays to their Service 96 and Service 11 due to emergency road closures.
They said: "Good morning customers we regret to inform of delays due to emergency road closures. #service96 closed at North Perrott we cannot serve Misterton or North Perrott #servicex11 cannot serve Godmanstone or Nether Cerne due to a fallen power cable."
According to reports on Twitter, there are temporary traffic lights which are causing traffic delays.
Travel Somerset has issued an upate on their twitter page: "We're aware of an issue the #A3066 North Perrott - looks like emergency works to deal with fallen power cable causing delays we'll update you asap. In the meantime please avoid this route if you can."
Somerset County Council has been contacted for comment.
