A HORSE has been freed from a ditch after emergency services rushed to Crewkerne.
One fire engine from Crewkerne along with the specialist animal rescue team from Bridgwater were sent to reports of a horse stuck in a ditch on Seaborough Road near Crewkerne at around 11.09am (August 11).
On arrival, crews confirmed that one horse that had been sedated by a vet as it was stuck in a ditch next to the road way.
Crews created an exit path and guided the horse to safety.
